We strengthen what a community stands on.

Imarisha Foundation supports children from financially unstable families, restores the land through tree planting, and works alongside young people to shape the values that hold a society together.

Our mission

A child should not carry the weight of a household's hardship. A community should not lose its trees, or its values, in the same generation. Imarisha exists to hold up all three.

What we do

Three commitments, one foundation.

01

Child & Family Support

We cover school fees, uniforms, and meals for children whose families are going through financial hardship, and walk alongside guardians so no child falls out of the classroom because of circumstance.

02

Tree Planting & Environment

Through community planting days and school partnerships, we restore native tree cover, fight soil erosion, and teach the next generation to see land as something to be kept, not used up.

Youth & Community Values

Mentorship circles, life-skills workshops, and elder-led dialogue help young people build discipline, respect, and a sense of responsibility to the norms that keep a community whole.

From the field

"Imarisha paid my daughter's fees for two terms when my shop nearly closed. Now she plants trees on Saturdays with the same children she used to sit next to in a classroom she almost had to leave."
